First of all, thank you for reading my blog! I appreciate every comment, view and share of my posts more than you know. I started this blog back in 2013 because I had so many thoughts floating around in my head that I wanted to share with others. I have always been into journaling so blogging was a natural extension of my love of writing.
To be honest I’ve never considered myself a great writer. Mostly because I never excelled at it academically in high school or even university. Although I do credit university with drastically improving my writing skills. I was never the student who consistently got marks in the 80’s. When I receive appreciation for my writing it sincerely means a lot to me.

This past year a lot of my writing centred on being a mom. As my life has evolved so has the topics I write on. In particular Everything, No One Tells You About Your First Pregnancy (Part 1) was my most popular post. Your first pregnancy is such a life-changing event no matter how difficult or easy your pregnancy is.
My blog is split over two domains because I upgraded my site to be self-hosted. A lot of my posts on my previous site still receive a lot of traffic from Pinterest. On that blog, my top post was one that I wrote shortly after getting married. I had read an article written by a man to single ladies basically making excuses why men need women to have everything figured out while they take their time maturing. To the ladies in waiting…is my response to that article.
The next most popular article was written during my season of singleness, right when I started my blog. Encouragement for Single Women talked about my very honest struggles with being single. I wrote it about a month before I met my husband. when I had basically no one on my horizon. Its a marker of how my attitudes towards being single were changing.
